About the Role
As a Legal Counsel, you will support the business by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, ensuring legal compliance and minimizing risk. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners across local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, preparing, and reviewing contracts and other legal documents with local and international clients
- Review and monitor all external contracts with relevant service providers
- Participating in negotiations with business partners and clients
- Providing legal support during the process of concluding agreements
- Monitoring legal regulations and ensuring their proper implementation in the company’s operations
- Providing legal opinions and advice to management and other departments
- Cooperating with external legal advisors and institutions when necessary
- Reviewing internal processes and structures to optimize operational functionality
- Developing and maintaining legal systems and records
- Reviewing employment contracts and related documentation
- Monitoring changes to labor legislation and proposing applicable adjustments
- Manage the DMS pertaining to the company’s clients
- Conduct legal research and gather evidence
- Draft relevant legal documentation such as contracts, lawsuits, appeals, etc.
- Assisting the HR team
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor of Law (Bar exam passed is a plus)
- Legal experience (IT or international company background is a plus)
- Strong legal drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken); (Russian is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Team player with excellent communication and organizational abilities
