ASPEKT signed agreement for implementation of the Aspekt Microfinance Software in Microcredit Foundation Horizonti, Skopje, Macedonia.
ASPEKT will integrate all decentralized business operations and automate manual processes by implementing the flexible and scalable Aspekt Microfinance Software for Microcredit Foundation Horizonti. For the purposes of this project implementation, the existing Loan Tracking System will be migrated to the new software solution, assuring complete data compliance and software reliability. With this implementation, Microcredit Foundation Horizonti is expected to improve reporting accuracy and increase loan portfolio by offering competitive and quality service to its borrowers.
Foundation Horizonti was established in January 2000 as a microfinance project for Catholic Relief Services USCC in Macedonia. Primary objectives of the project were providing access to financial services – microloans to entrepreneurs in the country and creating a self-sustaining local micro financial institution. With operational activities it began in March 2000 when the first loans were disbursed. The project was financially and technically supported by CRS and other well-known and reputable international donors. In June 2005, the project was localized with foundation Horizonti, under the Law of Associations of Citizens and Foundations.
