ASPEКT is participating in this year’s 25th MFC Annual Conference 2023, organized by the Microfinance Centre (MFC), taking place on 24 -25 May in Budva, Montenegro.
The subject for this year’s MFC silver jubilee conference is “Thriving Together” with a focus on the lessons learned and meeting the challenges of the next 25 years. With the significant opportunities as well as risks in climate change, technological challenges, uncertain future of work, political conflict, and global insecurity, the conference aims to meet these trials with bold decisions, innovation, and agility. This jubilee event should encourage MFC and the participants to envision their role in mitigating these challenges and creating sustainable ways of doing business and living. This year the conference examines how the changing relationship with the concept of work will affect the microenterprise sector and how to balance the immediate needs of small businesses with the need to future-proof them. The conference program will also address the role of social investment and patient capital in helping companies and communities to thrive.
ASPEКT will have the opportunity to engage with other MFC members and conference participants and share experiences, as well as address the next-gen technologies in the industry. More than 500 delegates from 40 countries around the world are expected to attend the 2023 conference. Participants include microfinance practitioners, policymakers, experts, investors, IT providers, donors, and social finance enthusiasts.
