Aspekt is proud to sponsor the Financial Inclusion Conference and Investor Exposition 2024 (FINCON 2024), hosted by the Association of Microfinance Institutions-Kenya (AMFI-K). This prestigious event will be held at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies in Nairobi.
FINCON 2024 aims to advance and promote active financial inclusion in Kenya by bringing together local and international financial services providers, investors, government regulators, development partners, academia, civil society, and other stakeholders. The conference will foster discussions on innovation opportunities in Kenya’s financial service system, exchange knowledge and experiences, address challenges, and identify effective models to ensure a more active, efficient, and inclusive financial system.
Under the main theme “Enhancing Financial Inclusion – Bridging Economic Opportunities and Outcomes,” the conference will assess the country’s financial inclusion achievements, impacts, and challenges. It will also evaluate the effectiveness of current models amidst a changing business landscape, focusing on policy and regulatory frameworks for sustainable finance, exploring financing and investment opportunities, and ensuring sector alignment with government policies on financial inclusion and the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
A highlight of the event, the Financial Inclusion Investor Exhibition, will serve as a dynamic platform for focused networking, pitching, and executing investment opportunities in Kenya. This exhibition presents a unique chance for financial and social investors to connect, collaborate, and explore partnership opportunities, fostering growth in the sector.
The Association for Microfinance Institutions Kenya (AMFI-K) is a member-based umbrella network for microfinance businesses and microfinance service providers established and registered in 1999 under the Societies Act, with the aim of building the capacity of the Kenyan Microfinance Industry.
