ASPEKT will take part in the upcoming conference and use the occasion to discuss current issues and share best practices within the sector during the two days of intense dialogues in debates between the participants. The first MFC conference in the Caucasus region is going to address the main challenges and issues facing microfinance, raising questions about microfinance access and availability, and how to create higher social focus by gathering over 450 microfinance practitioners, bankers, researchers/experts, donors, investors, local government representatives, USAID and European Commission representatives, policy makers, central bankers, global banks, private sector, and media representatives, to contribute to the conference’s success.
Microfinance Center (MFC) is resource center that aims to promote the work of the microfinance sector with focus on CEE Countries and Asia. The organization has increased the membership base throughout the years and has dispersed presence and offices based in Poland, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia. MFC organized annual conferences that bring together microfinance network to discuss industry specific issues, roundtables to disseminate microfinance best practices between closer group of experienced microfinance practitioners and capacity building trainings to educate members on topics that include financial literacy, performance management and client protection.
