The event is held 24-26 May, at Hotel Hills, Thermal & Spa Resort, in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The conference will have a strong focus on the industry achievements in the last 20 years, and the future of microfinance and the implications of the digital revolution for the next 20 years. It is expected that more than 500 delegates will take part at this year’s conference, to discuss the major sector developments and innovations, and the trends for the following years. Microfinance Center (MFC) is resource center that aims to promote the work of the microfinance sector with focus on CEE Countries and Asia. The organization has around 104 members dispersed across 33 countries and offices based in Poland, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Armenia. MFC organizes annual conferences that bring together microfinance network of over 450 high-ranking participants from 50 countries worldwide at each conference to discuss industry specific issues, roundtables to disseminate microfinance best practices between closer group of experienced microfinance practitioners and capacity building trainings to educate members on topics that include financial literacy, performance management and client protection.
